I'm normally a true 8.5, but after reading the reviews on Amazon, I decided to purchase the 8.5 and the 8 so that I could ensure a good fit. I'm glad that I did, because the 8.5 was too big and would flop off of my heel when I walked. I ended up giving the 8.5 to a friend that normally wears a 9. However, the 8 is almost too small, so it's taken some time to break them in, but now they fit fairly well. The shoes are great because they have a hidden platform and a heel that's not too high, giving a total feel of not being very high. For a girl that wore 3" heels to work every day for years but now has foot problems, these shoes are great because they give the illusion of being a true heel but not having all the pressure on my big toes. Overall, they are good for the price, but the sizing issue are why I gave it three stars.
