Let me start by admitting I have a shoe "problem" as my husband would say, however I did not have a good pair of grey winter dress shoes. These shoes are perfect. When I first took the shoes out of the box I thought the toe section was a little too short and rounded (I generally have more pointed toes), but once the shoes were on my feet they were perfect, the open side and toe section flow beautifully. I love the heel, but I am also 5'2" and used to wearing very high heels and being on my feet for hours at a time. If you are not used to a high stiletto heel this may not be the shoe for you, my co worker tried them on and could not walk in them. If you like high heels you'll love these shoes. The true test, I am ordering them in another color, not that I have a problem :)
