I likely walked into this shoe (no pun intended) with unrealistic expectations. It does have a lot of padding but there is only so much you can do to a high heeled shoe to make it comfortable. You are still pushed forward (can't deny physics here), you still have most of your weight on the ball of your foot. It is lightweight which helps and not too pointed without looking like grandma's orthotics.
