I've always heard good reviews about Sofft shoes, so was a little disappointed in the comfort of these shoes. They seem a bit small in the toe box, but I'm hoping I just need to break them in a bit. I'm a tried-and-true size 9, and the 9 in this shoe seemed to fit fine everywhere else. Otherwise, they are ADORABLE and the heel height is a perfect compromise between comfort and cute. Overall, I'll keep them for special occasions, but I won't be wearing these to walk around in all day.

Let me start off by saying: "I love Clarks." Normally. I have several pairs of Clarks. I also love patent leather. And hate the fact that pumps are becoming increasingly impossible for me to wear.

So, when I saw a Clarks pump in patent leather - I was ecstatic!

I normally wear an 8 1/2 - 9 ladies, but owning other Clarks shoes, I knew that they normally fit me at an 8 1/2.

Here come the shoes! So happy. Just like the picture! Can't wait to try them!

And now, the sad news...

They didn't fit properly. My heel was slipping at each step. Since I never wear an 8, it never occurred to me that I should consider that size shoe.

I had an event to attend where heels were required, and after standing in these shoes for several hours, I thought I was going to die. I'm sure it's not the Clarks... it's just that pumps are not easily worn by someone in their mid-50s. So, while I was looking to my favorite brand of shoe to save me... it didn't in this instance. I really don't want to return them - they're so beautiful. Maybe I'll put them in a shadow box and hang them on my wall.

I was little worried when I purchase this high heel pump on line, due to the discounted price and not a well known shoe brand. The material is not leather, but look pretty nice and the overall fit is comfortable. I ordered my usual size 8m. It is roomy enough in the front for all my toes. This shoe don't have much of padding, I might just go buy a pair gel insert to add little more comfort. Right now it will be ok to wear for the office or sit down dinner, as long as I don't need to walk or stand on my feet for more than few hours.

This shoe looks much better in real life than it does in the photo. I love rockports but this is my favorit. The nude color does not have as much discoloration as the picture depicts and it is a perfect shade of nude for me. The shoe has the cushy bottom but the big heel which makes it very comfortable.
