These shoes are exactly what it was looking for, the heel is just high and slim enough to look good but not so high that it makes it difficult to walk. I've worn them to work and also out in the evening. I also love the vintage feel they have about them and they appear to be very well made.The only problem I would mention is that wearing them can get a little painful even if you're only walking a short distance but it's not too bad. Perhaps this problem could be solved by going up one/half a size but as a size 8 (UK), 10 (US) I didn't have that option!
