The shoes look nice enough but the red in the photos is a bright vibrant red and the actual shoes are more of a wine or claret color. I wanted bright red and I am not sure I will keep these. I have no issue with the shoes themselves, only the fact that the color is not as pictured.

After writing the above I did return the "red" shoes and got the black ones. They are lovely shoes but not nearly as striking as the red ones appeared to be. My husband complimented them though, and that is rare.
