These shoes are fantastic. The heel is not very high and the foot-bed has amazing cushioning. I wear heels about twice a year and always regret it. Not these shoes. I wore them out for a girl's night and my feet didn't hurt a bit, not even the next day. I usually wear a 9 but bought the 8 1/2. I also have wider feet and these were perfect.
