These shoes are high quality and smell awesome, very nice shoe. However, the toe box is short and it is narrow. So your toes get scrunched from both directions. They do stretch nicely. Though it doesn't make it much wider. When I first got them they were so tight I couldn't get them on. Then I put in shoe stretchers and wore them around the house. They were almost too loose. Very strange. All in all, I wouldn't buy again just because I like a shoe to fit from the start and this was too strange. The height with the platform was fine. it didn't bother me at all but my toes were very scrunched.

I've been wanting a pair of ruby slippers for the longest time, but then I saw these-- and they are just beyond adorable. The shoes are relatively comfortable for their shape. I had ordered a size 11 to be on the safe side-- I'm normally a 10 or 10.5, and these fit just right. The medium width is good for me-- usually I am most comfortable in wide shoes, but these aren't actually very narrow, so the medium is just fine. The glitter is very firmly attached to the shoe and only has the slightest variation-- good near-perfect uniform coverage, with no empty space. The ruffles at the back of the left and right heel aren't a perfect mirror image, but are close enough to look good; in fact it adds a kind of charming touch. The insoles and other insides of the shoe seem well-constructed and are in good condition. The company seems like they were very careful about packing the shoes as well. For the quality and attention to detail, these shoes look like they should've been quite a bit more expensive than they were.

These are definitely going to be a-- well, no, not even guilty-- pleasure. Repeat after me: There's no place like Akihabara!

Update (July 11, 2012): after wearing these for a while, I noticed the white ribbon starting to fray a little in some places and a lot in others. I went ahead and used a candle to carefully-- and rather easily-- melt and seal the fraying bits, and slightly toughen the edge. It doesn't take a lot of heat, and the results look good as new. I was able to do this without any trouble even though the white ribbon is nestled between the layers of black chiffon. I just held the chiffon back with my fingers if I needed to melt-seal the ribbon a bit more thoroughly. Still five stars-- process to fix took maybe five minutes max.

OMG! I have never bought pair of leather heels where I had not had some issue with them being way to tight or just plain uncomfy only because of it being new leather not being properly worked with in the beginning. NOT these though! They arrived really earlier than the anticipated delivery date which is always wonderful - I cannot thank the vendor enough and be more appreciative on their quick turn around time! I did not have the chance to try them on when I got them. This morning was the first time ever having them on and let me tell you what! The leather on these is so suppel and forgiving. In a matter of ten minutes they conformed to my feet like my favorite pair of slippers. In other reviews people mentioned these being true to size, and that is the total truth! They are not narrow nor are they tight in the toes. There is room in the 6.5 to wiggle my toes comfy, and they are not sloppy, the heel cups are perfect. Naughty Monkey really did some great investigation work when designing these shoes and the things women complain most about...the listened and fixed! I would absolutely by shoes made by Maughty Monkey again!

Pleaser Women's Seduce-420V/B Pump,Black Patent,16 M US Review

I've been wearing classic black patent pumps with a 5" heel for 20 years. Pleaser makes a great inexpensive pumps, and I do love this particular style because it has the V at the vamp of the shoe AND it has a black sole! I can't stand beige soles on black shoes. Most of the other 5" heel pumps I've had with a V vamp had beige soles.

But, in comparison to my other 5" heels, this one feels a bit shorter, maybe a 4 �" (if you've ever worn super high pumps then you know what a difference that little bit can make!). That fraction of a difference makes them more comfortable for general wear, I'm just putting the info out there for those that are fellow high heel lovers.
