I eagerly opened my shoes when they arrived a couple of weeks ago and couldn't wait to try them on as they looked fabulous. What a dissapointment.....They were way, way too big. Then when I looked at the size on the inside of the shoe it said EUR40 USA9. That is NOT what ordered. I ordered USA7.5. The box said 7.5 but the shoes inside were completely the incorect size. Unfortunately I could not return them because when I tried them on a got a mark on the sole and the return condidtions are very strict so I gave them to one of my friends to wear as they are her size. Completely my fault for not looking before I tried them on and I accept responsibility for that. But now I have missed out because there are none left in this colour in my size. BooHoo!!!!!!! If I could get another pair in this colour in my size I would still purchase this style.

Clarks Womens Showoff Black Patent Leather - 8 B(M) US Review

I LOVE these shoes. They are comfortable, look stylish, and like all Clarks, run true to size and there is no break-in period. I wore them out the first night and never had any minute of discomfort.
I would wear these with jeans or dressy outfits (I have indeed worn them with both). I think they'd look great with skirts, too.

BUT.

They have a velcro closure. I didn't even notice this at first, but my boyfriend said that they were grandma-friendly...he made it sound like the impression HE had was that they were geriatric shoes. Since then, two other people have made comments like that. So, could they bet better? Yes. Hence the 4 stars.

But I still love them. LOL
