Though these are four-inch heels, they are comfortable and I can walk smoothly in them. I ordered half a size up from my usual 8, and that seems to have been a good idea. I find them exactly the right width as well. I may put in a gel if I need to be in them for more than 3 or 4 hours, but they're really not too bad. Also, they're beautiful to wear--they look elegant, and I'm ecstatic to find pretty pumps that are NOT platforms (have always thought platforms were unflattering and goofy-looking). I got a size 8 because sometimes the seven and a half will pinch my toes some but the 8 works just fine. I got foot grips to keep my foot from sliding forward but I won't need them. If you have narrow feet you probably will need the grips but my feet don't slide when I tried them on. The sole of the shoe does not have any grips though so it will be slippery depending on the surface that you walk on. I plan to purchase some type of anti slip shoe sole product before I wear them. The shoe is very attractive but you won't look cute falling on your butt. Some of the sequin on the shoe are silver mixed in with the turquoise. To give dramatic sparkles when the light hits the shoe.
